Astronomy has grown ears; can you hear God?
According to several very accomplished physicists and scientists, the sound of black holes smashing together has been detected for the first time, opening a new window for the study of the cosmos.
"At the news conference, they played an audio recording of this: a low rumbling pierced by chirps.
'We're actually hearing them go thump in the night,' Massachusetts Institute of Technology physicist Matthew Evans said. "There's a very visceral connection to this observation.'"
How can this be? Are we closing in on the source of the universe? Is this the heartbeat of the Creator?
Whether we digest this news literally or figuratively, it is still a eureka moment for we who are merely human.
If you watch the attached video and listen very carefully, you will hear the chirps!
