Every Day a New Beginning

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. Matthew 5. 16

As the darkness of the morning unfolded today, I was reminded of the power of Light, the presence of Light and the glory of God. Whether we see it or not, this happens everyday. And regardless of how dark the night before, this Light appears. Just as the great star led the wise men, so the Light of the Sun leads us to the beginning of a new day, a new chance, a new beginning.

And in thanksgiving for that new beginning, may we also shine our Lights on others so that they too may give glory to God.
